| Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)is a kind of psychological and behavioral disorder,which is characterized by not adapting to age,attention deficit disorder,hyperactivity and impulsive behavior.ADHD is often associated with other disease,such as oppositional defiant disorder,conduct disorder,personality disorder,anxiety disorder,mental disorder and substance dependence.The disease can lead to children with learning difficulties,poor grades,tense relationship with family members and children of the same age,lack of self-esteem,low employment rate and low income after growth,substance abuse and antisocial personality characteristics.At present,the prevalence of ADHD in the world is 1.2%-7.3%,the ratio of male to female is about 3-9:1.A meta-analysis of 7 studies in China shows that the prevalence of ADHD in preschool children is 4.31%-5.83%,and the number of children with ADHD in whole country is estimated to be between 14,610,0000-19,790,000.ADHD is a common behavior disorder in children,which is harmful to children's growth and mental health,but also to the family and society.There are many kinds of treatment,such as drug therapy,action therapy,psychotherapy,and parental training.The etiology and pathogenesis of ADHD are still unknown.At present,most scholar believe that the disease is not caused by a single factor,but due to biological factors,psychological factors and social factors.Therefore,ADHD is the syndrome caused by mutiple or single function and the specific cause is so complex.So,this thesis was conducted through the comparative method and case study method,field survey method,interview method,statistical method and chart method.And it tried not only to research the existence problem,but also to find out the advantages of traditional Chinesemedicine(TCM)and Western medicine integration through comparative analysis,to explore better treatment methods.Western medicine treatment can be divided into two major categories,drug treatmentand non-drug treatment.Among these drugs,there are a series of central stimulant drugs(Methylphenidate)and non-central simulants(Atomoxetine).Non-drug therapy is also broadly divided into psychological and neurological treatment.Psychotherapy has a variety of treatments,such as parental training,art therapy,music therapy,cognitive behavior therapy,exercise therapy,etc..There are also aspects of the neuro medical treatment of biofeedback formed during the development of neural feedback(neurofeedback)therapy.While,among the TCM therapy,traditional Chinese herbal medicine therapy,massage therapy and acupuncture are representative,and there are China diet therapy,music therapy(five tone therapy),art therapy(Calligraphy)and exercise therapy(Tai Chi)etc relying on Chinese inherent strengths and advantages.At present,the most common treatment for ADHD is the Western drug therapy.Nowmost of the patients with ADHD are treated with Western medicine treatment,because its curative effect is quick and obvious,but it is not every child's case.Moreover it could cause insomnia,headache,stomach ache and other side effects.Compared with western drug therapy,TCM treatment of ADHD has a good effect,and it almost doesn't have side effect.With the growth of China's economy,the development of Chinese medicine is also faster and faster.At the same time,the world is more and more concerned about oriental medicine like Chinese medicine.TCM is based on the concept of yin and yang philosophy,which is established on the basis of thousands of years of clinical experience.We can take into account the advantages of TCM treatment for ADHD.TCM conducted by dialectical theory has obvious curative effect on the treatment of neurological diseases.For example,ADHD,amnesia,Tourette syndrome,insomnia,etc.To systematically evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Chinese medicine in the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD).Methods:the databases such as China CNKI(CNKI),Chinese sci-tech journal database(VIP),Wanfang degree and conference paper database,SinoMed,PubMed and Cochrane library were retrieved,and the cut-off date was retrieved by February 2018.The data were extracted independently by two evaluators and the methodological quality was carried out with reference to the Cochrane systemanlysis handbook.The data were analyzed by RevMan 5.3 software.Results:a total of 30 RCTs were included.The results showed that the difference between Chinese medicine and Western medicine was statistically significant(RR 1.27,95%CI 1.20,1.34,12=60%,n=24),and there was no statistical difference in the change of Conners hyperactivity index.Compared with western medicine and Western medicine,the difference of clinical total efficiency was statistically significant(RR 1.18,95%CI 1.09,1.28,I2=53%,n=6),and it could also promote the decrease of Conners hyperactivity index,and the difference of the curative effect was statistically significant(MD-6.78,95%CI,-8.67,-4.89,n=2).Publication bias analysis suggested that there might be a risk of publication bias in the literature.The quality of the integrated literature is low.The TCM treatment of ADHD has the characteristics and advantages in the clinical total efficiency and the index of hyperactivity index.The clinical syndrome differentiation and classification of the treatment can be summed up as "liver kidney yin deficiency and liver Yang bias flourishing." The overall drug use to nourish yin and clearing heat,smooth liver and nourish kidney and nourish yin and Yang as the method.The effect and safety of Chinese medicine for the treatment of ADHD needs to be further confirmed by a large sample,strict design and well report clinical trials.In recent years,TCM research on ADHD is more in depth.Therefore,this thesis through the comparative study of TCM and Western medicine treatment method,get the advantages of both of them,take the essence and discard the dross.Meanwhile,study Chinese inherent therapy for ADHD and expect little patients of ADHD and their parents to enjoy high quality treatment in the future. |
