The Total Insults Of Water Ink Marks—analysis Of Female Images In Ink Figure Paintings

As an indispensable figure of the paintings, woman is found in the voluminous works of art as pure and complex bearing. The image of woman has a long history of existence; people used the most purely artistic language to give a sketchy outline of a female body which has already appeared as early as the prehistoric period of human. Attractively female image has also been found on the painting on silk which unearthed from the Tombs of the Warring States Period and the Western Han Dynasty. Therefore, either in the west or in the east, the theme of the female is the important part of the painting that cannot be ignored. The creation of Chinese painting about female image are known as "The painting of beautiful women" before the appearance of Chinese ink and wash. The female images in the Chinese traditional painting are mostly expressed in opulent and neat way. With the advent of the ink and wash form of expression, the female images in painting has been gradually performed in this way, and various of that pile up one after another on the paper. Today, remain as one of the important theme of the painting, women are molded in a vividly style which is being taken into consideration. Such a unique, full of charm but an important object that can not be ignored, which attract painters give more attention in ink an wash and provide more inspiration to them, become an unavoidable part of Chinese painting. It is particularly important to review the typical female images in the ink painting for our study of the personal creation.Beginning with the images of women in the classical ink and washing paintings for thousands of years, through the analysis of the women images' development since they presented in the form of ink and wash, this paper retrospectively analyzes and summarizes female images of the ink and washing paintings, and classified the representative images of women in accordance with the development of the time; while analysis representative works of different painters and the female images of the styles and characteristics of them based on the theory. This thesis try to clarify the female images' means of expression of ink and wash, also look forward to improve the author's personal experiences of figure painting. By making generalizations, analysis and comparison on the female images using inductive methods and Baconian theory, the article reveal the creative concept of personalized characters and the deep meaning its contained in them during the creation, and draw a conclusion that true feelings play a significant role in the creation of personalized image of women. At the same time, through the further analysis of the relationship between emotion and personality of the female images, we should clear in the creation it's very important that not only express our emotions by characters, but also to give more emphasize on exploring the characters and language of Brush-and-Ink driven by our own unique emotion, which is favorable for us to grasp the unity of emotion and form.The theoretical results should be applied in the creative practice in order to direct our own practicing. In the last chapter of this dissertation, a summation is made to generalize the author's own creation of awareness in this paper, which maybe not clear enough and needs to be improved and perfected. From this exploration, author expect to learn modeling approach and the language of Brush-and-Ink through works of excellence, accumulate the advanced experiences measures in the creation which we can learn from to extensive our own knowledge of painting. In the entirely course of this paper, author also able to acknowledge the importance of sincere emotion and efforts to explore our own art styles and professional skills, allowing our progress of painting creation perform effectively.
