A Planar Form Of Exploration In Oil Painting Creation

In oil painting, the planarity of formal language has distinct characteristics of the time. It is multi-level and multi-angle observation to painting space and provides the infinite possibilities to the artistic creation that can freely express author's emotional world. The creative thinking of artists developed the graphic language form that Complied with today's spirit of the age and aesthetic habits of people. Many Chinese painters also made bold attempt on oil painting creation. They combined the western painting language with Chinese traditional cultural elements and converted to not be restricted by the reality of laws of personalized language. The diversified aesthetic experiences not only meet the demand of the visual and also bring the spiritual resonance.In this paper, the author combining with her own painting creation from the Performance characteristics of four aspects of the composition, color, shape and line, use the planarity of formal language as the paper topic to explore the research.
