| The content of life appears in experience, therefore the depth of the literature in certain degree is the depth of the writers’ experience. Rich life journey will inevitably affects the creation of the writer, and this is especially true for Xiao Hong who experienced many twists and turns. But from the perspective of individual life experience research of Xiao Hong is still relatively weak, and this thesis puts forward from the original experience, a new perspective to study Xiao Hong trying to sum up how the her complicated experience influenced her creation from the whole, and making her texts unique.Xiao Hong’s works can be interpreted as the mainstream discourse of creation, also can be understood as personalized writing that has nothing to do with ideology. The thesis argues that the cause of the paradox about her text interpretation comes from the effect of Xiao Hong’s novels imposed by original experience.The thesis takes the total-divided structure, the first chapter discusses the meaning of the original experience from the aspect of psychology and aesthetics and the artistic tension between the mainstream discourse and the individual position triggered by original experience.Puzzled by hunger and cold, threatened by pain of birth and death, tortured by aloneness and loneliness, aspiration to freedom is suppressed by the outside world, Xiao Hong’s original experience is frustrated, depressed and traumatic leading to the anxiety and anguish in physical and mental. When contacting with the elite culture, she wanted to eliminate the mistrust of the world taking by original experience and used the mainstream discourse to discipline the original experience.But when she found herself gradually marginalized in the left-wing cultural camp, anti-japan writer team and the intelligentsia, so she used the original experience to review the mainstream discourse in turn. The other three chapters discusses the relationship between original experience and the art of Xiao Hong’s novels in detail. There are three aspects concretely: on the left-class discourse she showed class position, at the same time using conflict to weaken it; under the national narrative, Xiao Hong’s patriotic consciousness and individual consciousness coincided; in enlightenment her text presented the paradox of rational consciousness and the freedom of life.Fully using the ideology to frame a writer, the writer and the significance of her works will be covered in the great degree; but completely denying the value of ideology and dissociating the author from specific historical environment, will dissever the objective connection between the writer and the era. The thesis attempts to overcome these two tendencies as far as possible to find a real Xiao Hong. Using the most personal way of the original experience involved in the mainstream discourse narration, she reflected in an age of her life as well as beyond the era. It makes her text beyond the chains of ideology, resist the discipline to stick to the literary authenticity, and also give the researchers a variety of interpretation. |
