Wang Shuo's "Huaisu Wild Road" Concept

Calligrapher Wang Duo,lived in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty,is good at all kinds of style of calligraphy,especially in the unique style of cursive script.Having a far-reaching impact on future generations,his works are also of significant research values.A cursive like him,however,in the works of the inscriptions,has also referred to "Huai Su ye dao" for ten times.The author will take this as the starting point,using the methods of literature research which is combined with Wang Duo's works,to have an objective and comprehensive interpretation of "Huai Su ye dao".This paper is divided into four parts:In the first part,it has an overview of Wang Duo's life and artistic achievements,including calligraphy,painting,poetry achievements and influence,puts forward "Huai Su ye dao",which includes the life profile of Huai Su,the origin of the word "Huai Su ye dao" and the clue combing of "Huai Su ye dao".The second part is mainly about the analysis on the reasons why the "Huai Su ye dao" is put forward.It also compared Wang Duo and Huai Su's calligraphy works to draw a conclusion.The third part combined the comprehensive artistic thought of Wang Duo,having an objective interpretation of "Huai Su ye dao" from the point of view of reason and limitation.
