Case Study Of The Promotion Of Chinese Dance At The Confucius Institute At Goldsmiths

With further development of globalization, cultural exchange between different nations and regions are frequently increased. As a powerful platform for Chinese culture promotion,Confucius institute have actively established all over the world. The opportunity of working as a dance teaching assistant in Goldsmiths Confucius Institute, enabled that author to have a thorough inspection on the promotion of Chinese dance. Through which the author has found that overseas promotion does exist, but simply stay in social category currently, and it is not included in regular courses at school. To explore the causes, Britan, as an early professional dance education country, its regular school dance education is almost blank,and professional dance education has its own system; Dance development of the society is very active, thus making the Chinese dance promotion just stay in social category in this country. In terms of Chinese dance development situation, the current Chinese dance aesthetic core concept is not clear, and the lack of core culture symbol have blocked the promotion of the Chinese dance. In view of this situation, in the process of Chinese dance spread: Firstly,we should build up a sense of culture "consciousness”,positively inherit and develop the culture which represents our national spirit and national aesthetic concept. At the same time, create our own cultural viewpoint and aesthetic core concept. Secondly,higher standard of dance teaching materials selecting shall be established, as well as proper Chinese dance basic curriculum framework and the curriculum standard for Chinese Dance Promotion. In the meanwhile, dance teacher training shall be organized, with highlights on the cultivation of intercultural communication consciousness, overseas teaching ability and clear understanding of the aesthetic core concept of Chinese Dance.As dance learner, while facing the historic opportunity of national rise, we should be well prepared for strengthening the construction of dance for overseas promotion system.Through overseas promotion of Chinese dance culture, our national soft power and national image will be enhanced to some extent.
