Looking Into The Nationalization Exploration Of Chinese Chorus Art Since The 20th Century

Choral art was originated from the choir in European church in 11 th century,which is closely connected with the development of Christianity.The form of chorus was changing from medieval Gregorian chant to the two-part chorus "Organum",and then slowly evolved into the choir genre of Motet,Madrigal,Cantata and so on.The history of choral art has several hundred years in the West,but the history of Chinese Chorus Art is just the last hundred years.In the late 19 th and early 20 th century,Europe choral art began to spread to China.Religious music accompanied the missionaries came to China,there are some domestic scholars returned from abroad beginning to spread choral music.Since then,the choral art began to deep into the Chinese arts.In addition,there is another kind of statement said that in academia there was a long history of the choral art in China,which has been presenting in some folk songs in multi-voice chorus minority.But it should only be regarded as the prototype of choral art whereas choral music.Because most of these works are incidental combined multi part music,which is not enough specifications complete.This paper consists of introduction,body and conclusion.The development of choral art and the situation of choral arts nationality in our country are expounded in the introduction.And the main body is divided into three chapters.The first chapter outlines the concept and the features of the chorus,as well as the history of our choral art.The second chapter discusses the relationship between folk music and the choral art.From the beginning of the folk chorus in 1950 s to its nationalization for now,the importance of the choral of folk music and the necessity of nationalization of choral art in our country are discussed.The third chapter discusses the exploring road of the nationalization of our choral Arts from 20 th century by its creative thinking,style,language,performances,and so on.What's more,some suggestion about the exploring road of the nationalization of China choral arts in the future is given in the end.and I hope that more people who loved the choral art can take part in to discuss the future development of nationalization of Chinese chorus art.With the unite of its theory and practice,“development choral art,promote national culture” can be truly achieved.
