Research On The Remains And Cultural Changes Of The "Bada Dance" In Ganyu County, Gansu Province

Cultural change refers to any changes of a national lifestyle causedby external factors, internal development, or because of the mutual influence of different lifestyles between different ethnic groups.Gansu has a long history and culture,and formed a colorful folk dance cultural form in the processof migration and integration of variousancient northwestern ethnic groups.These dance forms have been changed or inherited.Those preserved forms have been taken down from generation to generation in certain ecological environment, and have been changed greatly under the influence of political, economic, cultural and many other factors.As a ritual dance "Badang Dance" is popular in Dingxi, Gansu, Gannan and other areas.In this paper,the Badang Dance performance on the Mountain Festival Events held from the first day to theseventeenth in the first lunar month in Zhongzhai Town, Minxian,Gansu as a case study.The author made a detailed field survey from the aspect of the historical and cultural background, art form, content and transmission methods of Badang Dance,and analyzed the cultural contributing factors of the present "Batang Dance" from the points of the westward migration process of "Ancient Qiang", the religious implant of "Bon" and the historical and cultural characteristics of different ethnic cultural fusion.
