Although the research of Chinese giving ditransitive started earlier,its definition and classification are still inconformity.There are 29 ill-formed sentences in HSK dynamic Composition Corpus.It is a main reason to research Chinese giving ditransitive.This paper aims at using construction grammar to research the Chinese giving ditransitive and teach it as the second language.To collect 189 giving verbs and find example sentences from Center for Chinese Linguistics PKU.Based on the previous research,the paper continue to analyze and research the semantic and syntactic characteristics.And then,use the rule to guide its teaching as the second language.The research methods are literature research and quantitative analysis.Based on the linguistic date,to column table and statistic data to state it.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into five chapters.Chapter one Research status.Not only collate date from Chinese traditional research,but also teaching Chinese as a foreign language.First of all,Li Jinxi put forward the name——ditransitive in 1924,although the study of ditransitive has been continuously,but has not yet formed a unified opinion.The giving ditransitive has the least contentious,but its definition and classification has yet been reached.Few grammar books explain this point deeply,in the mean while,the grammar outline only puts four giving verbs.Secondly,to collate previous research findings which use construction grammar to research the Chinese giving ditransitive.Zhang Bojiang is the first person to do the research,others continue to research it from its form and semantic of giving ditransitive,range from English-Chinese contrast analysis,analysis of semantic characteristics and using construction-trunk theory to guide Chinese international teaching.Chapter tow Using construction grammar to research the Chinese giving ditransitive.Firstly,Chinese giving ditransitive is an independent construction,its form is NP1+V+NP2+NP3,NP1 respects agent,V respects verb,NP2 respects recipient,NP3 is patient.Secondly,dividing giving Verbs into ten cases,including Ban,Chuandi,Fuwu,Gei,Huan,Ji,Mai,Paowu,Song and Tu,and summarizing its polysemy and central meaning.Then,the paper researches the relationship between components and the whole,especially analyzing giving verbs and the construction.Finally,analyzing the relationship between nominal composition(agency,patient,recipient)and giving ditransitive,to find semantic feature and the condition to each construction.Chapter three The error analysis based on the HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus.There are 29 grammatically wrong sentence,32 biased error.The paper aims at classification and genetic analysis.Mainly divided into three types: errors caused by the verb,nominal composition or construction.And then,use construction grammar to explain and correct it,expect to guide the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Chapter four The present situation of giving ditransitive.Object at grammar outline and textbook of teaching Chinese as the second language,the paper researches its teaching situation.And then,to give classes of verbs and sentence patterns as well as the example,and sums up the advantages and disadvantages: firstly,on the whole construction,the advantage is showing the basic type NP1+V+NP2+NP3,disadvantage is not showing the simple type.Secondly,as to giving verbs,advantage is textbooks usually use high frequency giving verbs,disadvantage is not put them into giving ditransitive.Thirdly,scene of the teaching usually close to the daily life of international students,but rarely used into this construction.Chapter five Using construction grammar to teach giving ditransitive as the second language.This chapter is the foothold of the paper.Using the conclusion to contribute to teaching Chinese as the second language,to make a instructional design,taking an example of the four verbs given by grammar outline.
