The Fuzziness Of Chinese Body Quantifiers

Body quantifier refers nouns borrows from the body count or measurement units. In this paper, it bases on achievements of fuzzy semantics, traditional grammar, lexicology, using the method of description and analysis, combing form and meaning, comprehensively studies the body of Chinese quantifier fuzziness.Firstly, this paper discusses the body quantifier ambiguity from different aspects. It confirmes three testing methods and four ways of the physical properties of fuzzy body quantifier. With discussing of the body quantifier ambiguity and syntax, it accountes that the syntax of a high degree of physical quantifier mostly shows counting table class, the shape of the table class, the number of class action form the body of quantifiers. And the quantifier meaning has no contact with the original meaning, and in the measurement, it has more accuracy. It also accounts that the syntax of the low level of physical quantifier shows more table space type, volume type table, the table state class, table class degree body quantifier. And the quantifier meaning has a little contact with the original meaning more or less, and in the measurement, it has the higher degree of fuzziness. It explored the relationship between the ambiguity of body quantifier and semantic, and it thinks that body quantifier will produce ambiguity in measuring, timing and describing. In addition, it also studies the relative clarity of the body quantifier, because that ambiguity and clarity is a dialectical unity.Secondly, this paper studies the ambiguity of the number of phrases from a mix and match perspective. The phrase of“??+????+??”has its ambiguity. It will produce ambiguity when fuzzy numbers match with the body of counting, shape and countable nouns of having no relationship with body. It will also produce ambiguity when the body of surface area, volume match with nouns of having relationship with body, uncountable nouns of having no relationship with body, and only a few exceptions phenomenon. The ambiguity of"‘??+??+????"has its ambiguity. It will produce ambiguity when helpless verb match with the body quantifier of weaken action. It also will produce ambiguity when relying verb match with the body quantifier of strong action.The ambiguity of“??+????+???”has its ambiguity. It will produce ambiguity when measurement adjectives match with the body quantifier of measurement. Other types of physical quantifiers and adjectives, their fuzziness exists in the property, property, state and space, they also will produce ambiguity when matching.Again, this paper studies semantic fuzziness of the body quantifier and its phrases overlapping. The body quantifier and its phrases overlapping have five forms. Respectively is “AA?”, “—AA?”,“—A—A?”,“—AX—A?”,“???”The overlapping types of semantic fuzziness forms are classified into three types:static multi, dynamic multi, state strong and weak. State strong and weak is innovation point in overlapping of quantifier now.Finally, this article explores the cause of the ambiguity of body quantifier from the physical world, the language world, cultural world, mental world, human communication. And this paper also analyzes fuzzy rhetoric and pragmatic effect.
