Religious sites are the most important tourism resources in China. When people visit a religious place during their travelling, they may always be provided with different experiences, which will affect their satisfaction, tendency and pleasure. In order to have a deeper understanding of the religious site travel feeling characteristics, this research has conducted a questionnaire survey on the flow experience of travelers in their religious travel activities. First, after experts, teachers and tourists were interviewed, the questionnaire for religious site visit based on the flow experience theory was prepared. Then, the forecast survey was carried out on 200 citizens and tourists according to the research norms, and the formal Religious Site Travel Psychology Questionnaire Based on the Flow Experience was formed after the validity & reliability test and the project analysis. Finally, the formal questionnaire survey was conducted on local citizens and tourists in Zhenjiang, and 275 valid questionnaires were collected totally, so as to study the characteristics and affecting factors for the flow experience of travelers in their religious travel activities. The research has found the following:1. The flow experience of the religious activity participants is a psychological structure affected by multiple dimensions, including the psychical dimension, cultural dimension and spiritual dimension.2. Travel Culture Psychology Analysis Questionnaire Based on the Flow Experience Travelers Visiting Religious Sites, developed by the research, is provided with the good reliability and validity and can be used as the tool to measure the flow experience of the religious travelers.3. The flow experience strength of travelers in the religious site traveling, who believes in a religion and no religion, varies significantly. All the three dimensions are related positively and significantly to generation of the flow experience. The culture levels of tourists have no significant influences on the flow experience. The flow experience of tourists engaged in different occupations varies greatly.The research has proved that whether the tourists believe in a religion or not has the significant influence on their flow experience during the religious site travel, and that the three dimensions for the flow experience is significantly related to the flow experience.
