The Study Of The Taboo Motif Folklore Spread Along The Ancient Shu Road In Guizhou

This paper was made to weaken the concept of story type and to study the evolvement of taboo motif. The folk stories spread along Guizhou ancient-post-road were taken as the research object to collect the taboo stories spread from mouth to mouth along this road. In the analysis of the stories, the similarities and the differences of the cultural connotation were detected and the multi-ethnic communication behind the cultural connotation was explored in order to discuss the significance of the national fusion brought about by the spread and acceptance of the same taboo motif between different people and different ethnic groups. This paper mainly includes five parts.The first part is the introduction. In this chapter, the literature review was made on the folk stories of taboo motif along Guizhou ancient-post-road, the research background and significance were discussed, and the research object, theory and research methods of the paper were identified.In the first chapter, the origin and development of the folk stories of taboo motif was discussed. The common types of folk taboos were introduced, and preliminary analysis was made on the relationship between taboo folkways and the folk stories of taboo motif.Besides, the folk stories of taboo motif were classified and interpreted in this chapter.In the second chapter, the type evolvement of the folk stories of taboo motif along Guizhou ancient-post-road was discussed. First of all, the folk stories of taboo motif collected were divided into two types, namely the love story of human and animal and the taboo story, and analysis was made on the stories of each type. Secondly, analysis was made on three important images, namely the spiral shell, the dog and the gourd. Finally,the story of spiral shell girl was taken as the example to analyze the evolvement of the folk stories of taboo motif along Guizhou ancient-post-road in both time and space.In the third chapter, the creation psychology reflected in the evolvement of the folk stories of taboo motif along Guizhou ancient-post-road was discussed, and analysis was made on the causes, psychology and cultural connotation of people in the creation and communication of the folk stories of taboo motif.In the fourth chapter, the acceptance and communication of the evolvement of the folk stories of taboo motif along Guizhou ancient-post-road was expounded, including the causes of the wide spread and evolvement and the results of communication and acceptance.
