In Chinese literary history, Jian'an is a brilliant epoch. Cao Zhi was called "Jian'an Zhi Jie" because of his great artistic talent, his personality and poetry creation throughout Wei-Jin Dynasty and Six Dynasties, was later inherited and developed, then became a kind of personality style in Wei-Jin Dynasty. The current academic research on the relationship between Cao Zhi and Wei-Jin demeanor is still inadequate; there is no special research on this issue. Cao Zhi's research mainly consists of Jian'an literati study, collection and annotation of Cao Zhi's literary works, the thought of Cao Zhi's literary works study, the research of Cao Zhi's status in literature history, Cao Zhi's life study and so on.In the first chapter, from the aspects of personality and life experience, Cao Zhi's personality temperament can be considered as the prototype of Wei-Jin demeanor. Put in twenty-five years as the boundary, Cao Zhi's life was divided into early and late. Early in life, he and Qizi lived a dissolute life; he had literary talent and enthusiastic political ideal. He showed his true inner self, the subjective spirit and open with temperament in his play life. In the later years, Cao Zhi and Cao Pi launched a fierce competition of the crown prince. In the race, the virtue of Cao Zhi is not so good, so he failed, his talent didn't support him become a crown prince. On the contrary, his indulgence, headstrong temperament became the factor of his failure. This shows that the Wei-Jin demeanor had not become a trend at that time. After Jian'an twenty-two years, Cao Zhi's mind had great changes, When politics was not successful, he began to create poems and used them show his talent demeanor and the meaning of life.The second chapter from the aspects of literature and poetry works, Cao Zhi that works with a strong sense of "Dionysian spirit". His creation made the painful life has the beautiful value, also made the poem become the carrier of the personality. Cao Zhi called for a hero and friendship in the poem and showed the individual spirit. Cao Zhi used his personality and art pursuit beyond the mundane world in pain life, and then became the initial form of Wei-Jin demeanor. On the other hand, Cao Zhi used the way of literary creation to beyond Cao Pi and Cao Rui's repression; he created a way to looking for the meaning of life and curing the pain of heart. His personality and temperament had a big influence on Ruan Ji, Ji Kang, Tao Yuanming, Xie Lingyun……All of those men had the same spirit with Cao Zhi. Moreover, the essence of their behavior is still literature, especially poetry. They set above the height of the metaphysics, integration of the time factor and their characters, and then promote the expansion of Cao Zhi's way, finally found a refuge for mental despair. Poetry became the highest representative of Wei-Jin demeanor. Finally, Xie Lingyun set summary of previous achievements, when his life was end, Wei-Jin demeanor was completed.
