Mei Yichen's Poetic Creation And His Poetic Style

Mei Yaochen is the pioneer of Song style.His poetics status should not be ignored. For a long time, the study of his research has mainly been concentrated on the styles, subjects, thoughts, comparative studies, the history of acceptance, life and so on. In the eighty's, psychology research has become a new perspective of research, which provides a new idea for the study of ancient literature. So this paper tries to discuss Mei Yaochen's creation mentality, combined with the background of each period, to analyze the evolution of the creation mentality, and to explore the impact of his creation mentality on his style.Throughout Mei's life experience and his poems, the article is divided into three chapters.The first chapter is about his early writing stage.It is from Tiansheng Tiansheng nine years (1031) to Mingyou two years (1033), during which period he mainly lived in Luoyang before he started his political career. Under the leadership of Qian Weiyan, Xie Jiang, they formed a literary group in Luoyang.Mei's poetry writing is in a relatively relaxed state, so the poetry shows a characteristic of elegant leisure shops. The second chapter is his interim creation. It is from Jingyou one year(1034)to Zhihe two years(1055),during which period Mei Yaochen widely and deeply got in touch with the society. He went through the uncertainty of official career. He experienced three times of political struggle, the loss of loved ones and friends,and the failure in the imperial examnination etc.His creation mentality was complex and unstable,which mainly fall into four kinds:the first kind is the mentality of political struggle resentment,the second kind is the mentality of compassion towards people, the third kind is the mentality of losing relatives and friends, the forth kind is the frustration. mentality.The poetic style also changed under the influence of these four kinds of mentality, which is manifested by the early elegant literary style turned to the interim period of the powerful and energetic.The third Chapter mainly concentrates on his late years, from Zhihe three years(1056) to Jiayou five years(1060). He lived in a relatively stable society.His living conditions have been relatively improved and his mentality is relatively mild, so his poetry presents a placid style. Throughout the three chapters, Mei Yaochen's creation mentality in general is complex and varied, but a key factor to the formation of an artist's literary character and style is a kind of Iatent,permanent and enduringly basic mentality of a consistent concern about,the fate of his country and its people and the mentality of compassion towards people who he regards as his own brothers and own kinds.
