On The Theme Of "seeking" In Fan Xiaoqing's Novels

This paper chooses Fan Xiaoqing as the research object and takes the “seeking theme”as the breakthrough point.It intends to inspect the unique product and spiritual orientation of her novels by text reading,social hertory research and biographies,and excavates the value and limitations of her literary creation.The full text consists of three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part first let Fan Xiaoqing's novels return to the literary scene,and then reasoned the purpose and significance of the topic from the literary hertory and the practical significance of these two aspects.In addition to,define the concept of “seeking” theme,and sort out the research status of her novels and their themes.On this basis,put forward feasible research ideas and methods.The first chapter discusses the generation of the theme of “seeking”in Fan Xiaoqing's novels.Fan Xiaoqing sets up a unique and distinctive style of writing: creating personal discourse outside the mainstream “seeking theme”.There are many reasons for it,such as the literature persistence,the life experience,the local conditions and customs,and the changes brought about by the social transition.The second chapter discusses the presentation of Fan Xiaoqing's “seeking theme”.Through a close reading of the text summed up for Fan Xiaoqing and her novels in the “seeking way”: find the ideal way to docking of old Suzhou and modern Suzhou by facing the new social change;by looking back to the village to find local hertory China's residual temperature;through the outline of the new century for the picture into the space of individual life philosophy.The third chapter discusses the characteristics of Fan Xiaoqing's “seeking theme”.On the basis of narratology,the text structure and narrative strategy of Fan Xiaoqing's novels are studied.Fan Xiaoqing did not pay attention to the results of her search,especially in her later novels,surpassing seeking and moving toward absurdity.Although Fan Xiaoqing has changed many times in the subject,style and character of the novel,her novel has an eternal spiritual orientation-the search for human nature and warmth.The conclusion part summarizes Fan Xiaoqing's “seeking theme”,but also points out the significance of “seeking” to Fan Xiaoqing' s novels and her literary construction,and the significance and limitation of Fan Xiaoqing's creation.
