Nozick's Solution To The Solution To The Mystery Of Existence

Why there is something rather than nothing Famous philosopher Heidegger regards that the question is the fundenmental subject of metaphysics.Since ancient times,many philosophers all along different angles on this qusetion for a response.American philosopher Nozick,regards this question as a problem that involves the limits of our understanding of human beings.On the basis of previous studies,he have analyzed and refined three possible answers to this question.Nozick gave the first answer is "the power of nothingness" theory,which is inherited from the "nothingness theory" of Heidegger.Heidegger believes that"nothing'' is the negation of the existence.Nozick further on this basis,define nothingness' is "the power that can put it all into nothingness,and keep nothing stay in this state".This power can not only destroy the existence,but also destroy the nothingness,when the 'nothingness' to destroy themselves,'nothingness'will disappear,'presence' appears.In fact,the answer is to regard 'nothing' as a state of nature,and that all beings are born out of nothing.However,Nozick is not satisfied with this explanation,he believes that this interpretation will lead to a problem of the opposite in content but similar in form,this problem is 'Why there is nothing rather than something",aiming at this problem,Nozick put forward two basic standpoints of his explaintion theory,One is the self-subsumption,he believe that the principle that can explain everything must be explain themself,deduction themself,and it must be a true proposition.the other is the egalitarianism,it regard that we must rule out the premise of inequality,exclusion of natural state.Under the guidance of this position,Nozick gives a probabilistic interpretation of the problem,And then further put forward the "fecundity principle",it regard that "the different possibilities will be realized in different possible worlds".nothingness' is also included in these possibilities.Nozick's third explanation is the mysticism explaintion,In this interpretation,The state of the world original state is beyond being and not being,unable to express with predicate,He believes that the original state of the world is a state of absolute transcendence,trying to solve the problem.This paper will sort out these three lines of Nozick,and analysis of their respective advantages and disadvantages.
