Ding Yunpeng's Research On Landscape Painting

Ding Yunpeng is not only famous at Buddhist painting but only landscape in Late Ming Dynasty.He devoted his whole life on painting in figures,landscape and flower-bird painting,who has made a great contribution on the development of China traditional prints art under the background of the booming of the commodity economy,printing industry and book industry.Nowadays,people will usually think of Ding's excellent achievement of character paintings when was mentioned at the first impression.However,there was a few of landscape prints research about him.This paper aims to Ding Yunpeng as the starting point.From the perspective of Ding Yunpeng 's landscape prints,made the study on the rise of landscape prints in the late Ming Dynasty.There was a great number of prints illustration in Late Ming Dynasty,especially on the character,the drama and the novel.Landscape prints was developed in the late years,but his functionality as much as other categories.Therefore,this paper intends to explore the rise and development of landscape prints in the late Ming Dynasty.With the landscape prints created by Ding Yunpeng as the breakthrough point,this paper tried to analyze the driving effect of Ding in the development of landscape prints,as well as the art of landscape painting in the late Ming Dynasty and the status,function and development trend in society.What is the meaning of itself in the art historical development.
