"Banned Dreams" is a novel by the contemporary Egyptian writer Nuer Abdul Majid,about the story of the two ordinary families in the context of the Egyptian revolution.This novel truly reproduces the life of contemporary Egyptian ordinary people,the confusion of young people,and the dream of the younger generation of Egypt and the reality of the collision.And the last day of the revolution,the scene of the conflict between the public and the government police is particularly true,so that the minds of the majority of readers are shocked,at the same time,they can't help but deeply thinking:In the era of rapid economic transformation and social change,how to achieve personal desire,and where to go.This paper starts from the theory of social movement,and combined with the theory of social psychology,analyzes the typical character of personal aspiration and the fate of individuals,to explore the causes of the novel social revolution,and further reveals the relationship between personal aspiration,personal fate and social revolution.
