Japanese Manga Adaptation Of Live Film Narrative And Aesthetic Research

The paper focuses the aesthetic and narrative problems on Japanese comic adaptation live-action films.This type of films have became into fashion in recent years,especially the United States super hero series of films.However,Japan as an animation big country,through its film history and the number of annual released films,we could find there are many comic adaptation of the live-action films.Comic and film seems to different art forms,but in the blend of each other,they produce a unique flavor.The 1990's was the golden age of Japanese comics,the works of comic were rich and varied in the subject matter,theme,style and so on.And with the combination of comics,television and the film,comic style of film and television works gradually increased.This kind of comics works that could be adapted into film and television,were popular,word of mouth to be recognized by the market.However,comic adapted films,especially adapted live-action films,their qualities were often controversial and mixed.Through the theory of structuralist narratology,the audio-visual language of film and television,this paper studies the Japanese comic adaptation of live-action films from the aesthetic point of view.According to the research content,this thesis is divided into the following five parts:The first part: introduction.It mainly elaborates the research background,the source and purpose of the research,the research ideas,and the research methods.The second part: the development of Japanese comics and its film adaptation.On the basis of a lot of literature research and analysis of the works,the history of the development of Japanese comic books,as well as the history of the development of Japanese comics and comic adaptation of film development situation to sort out and summarized.The third part: from comics to film aesthetic transformation.The part of the comic to the film in the character modeling and the scene to build on the characteristics of aesthetic thinking on the different analysis of cartoon and film in the aesthetic similarities and differences.The fourth part: cartoon adaptation of film narrative techniques analysis.Mainly from the narrative plot,characters and scenes analysis,the Japanese comic book adaptation of the narrative techniques of the analysis.Part 5: conclusion.The author summarizes the final results of this study,and put forward the limitations of research and future research prospects.
