The Folk Symbolic Exchange Of The Hani Kado People And Their Cultural Functions

The paper starts from the civil ceremonies,based on Mopi,analyses the ceremonies in fields to study the influence of symbolized culture on the cultural spreading.The field investigation is the major method in the paper with the methods of observation and deep interview,assisted with the studies on references.The paper consists of five parts.Firstly,it introduces the existing places for the symbolized exchange in the everyday ceremonies.Then displays the process of ceremonies,life,human and super-nature of Mopi so as to studies the function of symbolized exchange on the culture spread and the potential influence of economical factors on the culture.In the first part,the forming background of symbolized exchange in Hani,Yunnan province is introduced from historical revolution,economical regulations,cultural background,natural environment and religious ideas to show the objective conditions of the appearance,existence and spreading of symbolized exchange.The second part expresses the existence of symbolized exchange and introduces the holder of Hani culture Mopi maintain and spread the culture through history,social responsibilities and daily religious authorities.It also reinforces the double social structure of “blood and geography”.The forth part analyzes the descent spread in Mengnong village,Mojiang county,Gelanghe village,Menghai country Xishuang Banna.The symbolized supporting power held by Mopi and the economical rewards,social ranks and fame from the power are also introduced to conclude that the rewards of Mopi is the main reason for the symbolized exchange.In the fifth part the symbolized exchange is taken as the processing factor for the change of culture.Under the conditions of culture environment and culture consciousness,it is adjusted and fulfilled to in accordance with the modern life of locals people.The Hani culture can be conserved,spread and recreated to be taken as a example.So the culture spread of other minorities can be emphasized.The conclusion is drawn in the sixth part.The massive effects of symbolized exchange as a potential unconscious action are displayed in the traditional civil ceremonies of Hani,which can ensure the conservation and spreading of traditional culture.
