A Comparative Study Of The Prefaces Of Wen Xuan And Wen Xin Diao Long

Preface Body reached the mature conditions in the Wei-Jin Northern and Southern dynasties,and led to more excellent works.But the literature creation and the theory about the Preface Body,there are few specially discussed."The Literary Mind and Carving dragons" and "The Anthology",which were respectively the highest-achieved literary theoretical works and literary anthology in the Six Dynasties,had a high reference value,so they could be compared and referred with each other.Through the research of learning and summary to the Preface Body,combined with the the related theory of "The Literary Mind and Carving dragons" to compare,we can go on a study again on the Preface Body.The thesis is divided into three chapters:The first chapter of the Preface Body is to trace its source,name,origin,development and evolution,and a comparative analysis of "The Anthology" and "The Literary Mind and Carving dragons" about the origin of the Preface Body,which is conductive to analyze the articals recorded by two books in the development of the whole order of the history of the Preface Body.The second chapter includes the comparison of the specific sequence of articles from the two books.Firstly,illustrating the classification of the Preface Body about the recorded cases from two books.Then,in order to explore the relationship between "The Anthology" and "The Literary Mind and Carving dragons",it analyzes the content of preface from the classification method,and Combined with the "preface" and "preface anthology annals" compares Liu Xiao,from the point of view of order.In the third chapter,on the basis of the preface,the author makes a comparison of the differences between the two people in the understanding of the preface and its causes."The Anthology" and "The Literary Mind and Carving Dragons" had both commmon and different points in elucidating and selecting the works of the Preface Body,which was because of the environment of times of LiuXie and Xiao Tong.Also having a close relationship with their values and outlook on life.XiaoTong payed attention to the literary text itself,and Liu Xie had greater utility.Through concrete analysis of the extracts of body work,which also could faithfully reflect their thinking and understanding.
