"Fish" is a concentrated expression of traditional decorations,and the fish-themed decorations sustain a flood of emotion of many people.According to some traditional forms of art,"fish" is an auspicious symbol,which has been proved by the unearthed relics as the decorations of fish often appear on the surface of utensils.In the wake of the economic and social prosperity in the 21th Century,the fish-themed decorative painting arouses public concern with rich research fruit.In the multi-cultural context,the forms of decorative painting are diversified accordingly.By virtue of the traditional "fish" theme in decorative painting,this project,on the basis of the oriental and occidental art schools and the restructuring and reorganization of artistic modeling,investigates the forms of expression of "fish" from the angle of picture formation.Firstly,the creator overviews the fish-themed decorative painting,and further discusses the traditional attributes of "fish",thus the research significance for decorative painting.Secondly,the creator focuses on the decorative expression of "restructuring and reorganization",investigating the fish-themed modeling,form of spatial expression,and the sense of decoration.Through the restricting and reorganization of concrete and abstract images,the creator breaks down and rearranges the image spacing according to the demand of the subject,thus an emphasis on the plane decorative space.Responding to the requests of multi-cultural fusion,the creator stresses the expression of the mindset of subject in decorative painting,incorporating the essentials in traditional Chinese decorative painting and the restructuring and reorganization of occidental cubism onto the decorative painting of "fish".In the creation of this project,the creator strives to reinterpret the traditional image of"fish",incorporating some trendy essentials with pluralistic aesthetics onto this work.Finally the creator investigates the language expression of decorative forms from the restructuring and reorganization of the picture of decorative painting.
