"The Book of Songs" is the first collection of poems in our country,and it is also an important historical material to study ancient history and culture.In view of the ambiguity in XiaoYa and the particularity of YuWuZheng,There always has been different opinions on the interpretation of YuWuZheng,hard to make a agreement.According to the publication of Confucius' poetics and Tsinghua Jane XiNian,new historical materials have been provided to solve the controversy over YuWuZheng.Scholars have discussed about this,but it's not systematic.Therefore,it is necessary to systematically re-interpret and study YuWuZheng and make its historical value play its role.First of all,there are many controversies about the title,author,subject and background of YuWuZheng.This article will sort out the relevant comments since the Han Dynasty,on the basis of the previous research results and Newly unearthed literature,I will make comments one by one.Firstly,YuWuZheng should be written during the period of the Western and the Eastern Zhou,when exsisting two kings side by side,namely from BC771,the Western Zhou Dynasty perished,to BC750,Xie Wang killed,which is about nine years close to the perish of Western Zhou(BC762).Secondly,the word “YuWuZheng” means that rain is not appropriate,as a metaphor to XIE Wang's improper rule.Thirdly,the author is a guard close to Xie Wang,witnessing the corruption of Xie Wang's policy,can not help but blame for the chaos of the elusive imperial minister.besides,there are related records on YuWuZheng in the Chu State bamboo slip edition of Confucius Commentaries on The Book of Poetry in Shanghai Museum,from which,we can see the author is very loyal to the king.At the same time,compared Confucius' Poetics with Preface to Mao Poetry,its obvious that they are different in the way of commenting the The Book of Songs due to different backgrounds.But Confucius' Poetics gradually separate itself from the method of garbling the poem during Spring and Autumn period,and start to interpretate the theme of the work,which has had an important influence on the formation of Mao ' s poetic preface.At the same time,this article is under the guidance of proof of poetry and history for each other,taking full advantage of the historical information reflected by YuWuZheng to analyze the facts between the Western and the Eastern Zhou Dynasties.it is concluded that there not only exsisted two kingdoms,but also this phenomenon lasted from the establish a regime of the king(BC771)to XieWang killed(BC750).Finally,according to YuWuZheng,serious natural disasters,the invasion of Quan Rong are important reasons for the Western Zhou Dynasty's perish,but the most fundamental reason lie in the decline of the feudal society itself in the Western Zhou Dynasty.In addition,this article takes YuWuZheng as the basic historical data,combined with the works of the same period,to explore the ideas between the Western and the Eastern Dynasty,such as political concept,patriarchal concept,destiny concept,in order to enrich the research during this period.
