The bronze inscriptions of Xing and Jing in the Western Zhou Dynasty are important materials for studying the development history of the aristocratic families in the Western Zhou Dynasty.There are fewer inscriptions unearthed and handed down in Xing state of the Western Zhou Dynasty.In contrast,there are more inscriptions of the Jing.For a long time,the academic circle has been devoted to the study of the historical and ethnic origins related to Xing and Jing in the Western Zhou Dynasty,and has made many achievements.At the same time,great achievements have been made in the research and interpretation of inscriptions,but most of them are scattered.With the emergence of new materials and new ideas,it is necessary to make a comprehensive and systematic study on the bronze inscriptions of Xing and Jing in the Western Zhou Dynasty on the basis of fully absorbing the existing achievements of the academic community,and to further discussion on relevant issues.This paper mainly takes Wu Zhenfeng's Shang Zhou Qing Tong Qi Ming Wen Ji Tu Xiang Ji Cheng and its sequel as reference matericals,and combines with other journal papers and materials to collect and sort out a total of 82 pieces of Xing and Jing's self-made and others' works in the Western Zhou Dynasty.Among them,there are 11 Xing bronze wares and 71 Jing bronze wares,and take this as the research objects.On the basis of fully absorbing the views of various schools,this paper makes a comprehensive study of the inscriptions.At the same time,combining with the interpretation of inscriptions,the author further studies the historical and ethnic origins related to Xing and Jing in the Western Zhou Dynasty.This paper is divided into four parts: introduction,interpretation of inscriptions,research on related issues,and conclusion.The first chapter is the introduction,which briefly introduces the research object,purpose and significance of the article,and the research status of the inscriptions on Xing and Jing bronzes in the Western Zhou Dynasty.The second chapter and the third chapter are about the collection and research of the relevant bronze inscriptions of Xing and Jing in the Western Zhou Dynasty,involving the inscriptions' form,interpretation of difficult words,the broken reading of sentences,the dating of bronzes and other issues,and give my own opinions based on previous studies.The fourth chapter discusses the historical and ethnic origin issues related to Xing and Jing in the Western Zhou Dynasty in combination with relevant inscriptions.It includes three aspects: whether the Xing state of the Western Zhou Dynasty had been relocated,the ZhengJingshi? lineage relationship and the relationship between Xing and Jing in the Western Zhou Dynasty.Finally,the conclusion summarizes the main research content of this paper.
