Mao Zedong's View Of Culture And Its Contemporary Value

In the process of the development of a country and nation,the role of culture can not be underestimated.Especially at present ages,culture has increasingly become an important way to reflect national comprehensive strength and an important impetus in order to promote social economy and political development.In contemporary times,we carry forward the fine traditional culture and carry on the inheritance and development to the traditional culture,which is the inevitable choice of every Chinese sons and daughters.Mao Zedong,the founder of the People's Republic of China,plays an important role in modern and contemporary development of China.Especially in the historical process of the transformation of Chinese culture from tradition to modernity,the cultural attitude to Mao Zedong's thought is more significant.As an important part of Mao Zedong thought,the study of Mao Zedong 's cultural attitude will make ideas of Mao Zedong and the achievements of Marxism even deeper in China,which can provide valuable historical resources for the construction of contemporary socialist culture.In this paper,the author explores the origin of Mao Zedong 's cultural view,which is rooted in China' s outstanding traditional culture,drawing on advanced Western cultural ideas,and taking Marxist cultural view as a direct theoretical source to form his own cultural view.Secondly,it explores the practical foundation of Mao Zedong's cultural view,taking China's national conditions(social foundation),economic base and political system(realistic basis),national culture and national psychology(cultural foundation)as solid practical foundation.Thirdly,this paper discusses Mao Zedong's cultural view and contemporary value,and points out that Mao Zedong's view of culture is not only an important component of Marxism in China,but also an important guiding ideology and theoretical support for China's socialist modernization construction.
