CSA Discounting: Impacts On Pricing And Risk Of Commodity Derivatives

Research on papers in economic academic journals is becoming more and more important both in China and western developed countries,a growing number of English economic academic papers are adopted in China.Thus,the demand for the English papers' translation on economic academic journal is increasing.In this report,the translator selects an economic academic paper entitled CSA Discounting: Impacts on Pricing and Risk of Commodity Derivatives.Under two different frame: LIBOR discounting and CSA discounting,the article quantified the change in pricing and risk results of derivatives.According to the text and language characteristics,this translation practice report summarizes some translation methods.For example,in economic terminology translation,the meaning of words should be chose flexibly,and some of the terms are abbreviated by the author,which should be restored;in sentence translation,information forces should be valued,and for some unclear sentences in the source text,conceptual addition,explanation addition and complementarity addition are adopted;in discourse translation,the translator should pay attention to the zero-form conjunction of the text,and grasp the text features,in order to make the translation conform to the cultural background of the target language.
