Survey Of Chinese Teaching In Ecuador

We used the method of observation,interview and questionnaire to conduct,focused on the Confucius Institute,Confucius Classroom,International Schools and the primary and middle schools which had carried out the interest classes in Quito which is the national economic and cultural center of Ecuador.Based on the real situation and data,from the angle of the horizontal and vertical angle of the history,this paper analyzes the situation including the teaching institutions,the curriculum,the situations of teachers and students,the teaching materials and the achievements.Based on the teaching experience we presented superficial insights and prospects for the future.There are three chapters in this paper:the first chapter introduces the overall situation of Chinese teaching in Ecuador from six aspects:the teaching form of Chinese teaching in Ecuador,the situation of teachers' resources,the situation of students,the use of teaching materials,the setting of curriculum and the adjustment and analysis of students' feedback.The second chapter elaborates the Chinese teaching of Ecuador in Quito,which is the economic and cultural center of Ecuador.Furthermore,as the SEK LOS VALLES International School and the SIYUAN Confucius Classroom in Ecuador are representative and innovative institutions of Chinese teaching,so we take these two schools as examples of a detailed introduction to the situation of Chinese teaching;the third chapter combines the contents of the first two chapters,summed up the the main problems in Ecuador Chinese teaching,some suggestions and countermeasures,and at the end we also took a look at the future of Chinese teaching in Ecuador prospects for development.
