As one of the most important and independent music styles in the pre-classical period,the gallant music style had played a key role in the formation of the classical style.The development of music in the pre-classical period is relatively unstable,and the overall style of the music compositions is various.Different kinds of music styles are formed at the same time in this period.The corresponding music works are also much decentralized in a well-developed trend.For this reason,the composers' music in the pre-classical period has an indelible influence on the formation of the later composers' musical style.The gallant music style was formed in the late Baroque and came to be mature in the pre-classical period,which directly affected the post-classical period of music development.Gallant music style is very unique and innovative,and John · Christian Bach is one of the most famous representatives of the gallant music style in this period.He composed twelve sonatas,among which the works OP5 and OP 17 are his only sonatas compositions for the keyboard.Through the analysis of these two compositions,we can get a better understanding about the gallant music style.The topic of this paper is "the embodiment of gallant music style in J·C Bach sonatas".The author will conclude the development of the gallant music style and make a wide range of introduction about the sonatas,including music forms,harmony,textures and so on.At the same time,this paper will study about the embodiment of gallant music style in J · C Bach sonatas by analyzing the specific expression form of his sonatas in consideration of J.C Bach's life.
