Sonata No.1 in G major BWV 1027 is one of the three sonatas written by J.S Bach(Johann Sebastian Bach)in Kothen Period.It was created for Abelian,the famous musician of viola da gamba in the Kothen court.This piece of work obviously reflects the style of church music in Baroque Period.It makes full use of polyphony techniques and breaks the single melody form.The research about this sonata is few.So the analyses of this piece of work,the polyphony techniques and key points of practice could be further exploded.
