G�P�Tellerman Flute Concerto Music Style And Music Language Characteristics Research

Six flute concertos of late Baroque German composer G�P�Telemann(G�P�Telemann,1681--1767),who played a linking role in the history of Western music development from Baroque to the Pre-Classical period,are the research objects of this paper.The main contents of this thesis is about the features of music language and music style in these six works.The outstanding feature of the six works is that the music language is largely influenced by the Enlightenment,and the popular and adaptable style makes the fusion of many different regional musical elements in the works.They are featured of galant,mixed and original elements.The thesis includes four chapters.First,Knowing the composer's music styles and social background through his experience.And also,through the discussion about the shape,performance,etc,about the transvers flute to know the value of Telemann's flute works.Second,The author analyze the use of Ritornello and the four movement structure which may affected by French music elements.Third,This is one of the main aspects of Theatricality in Telemann's works.The author focus on the color of harmony and the means of contrast and insertion of music.Finally,The melody and rhythm are the objects of analysis.The author finds out the music language which have the feature of galant,mixed and original styles.Telemann's works in the 18 th century were represents the trend of the new fashion influenced by the Enlightenment,He's pursuit of colorful harmony and the contrast and Theatricality in the works made him to exists a sign of Pre-Classical style.His melody and means of composing influenced his generation and future generation's composer.
