On The Artistic Charm And Application Of Still-frame Movies

France's Nouvelle Vague,originated in the end of 1950s and the beginning of 1960s,was an indispensable force of innovation of European art films.In the French Nouvelle Vague cinema,the trace of The Cold War always existed not only in the movie's theme but also in the movie's description style and technique of expression.Chris Marker,the outstanding representative with high movie production,which not only dominated the Left Bank of Nouvelle Vague,but also influenced a generation as a remarkable intellectual.La Jetee,created by Chris Marker,was a special movie with extremely creativity and groundbreaking.The exploration on the movies with static frame expression and learning the application of static frame image is very important and it also has practical significance in our art life.This study will combined with my graduation film "REBIRTH" to discusses the approach of the above static frame expression.
