Most of the Yi people were indigenous people in the southwest of China in the ancient times.Later,they merged all kinds of people from all directions,and gradually formed a huge nation,which was finally called "Yi nationality".In the development of the times,the Yi people have created a large number of unique spiritual culture.In these spiritual culture,clothing culture is an important carrier of national culture,and costume language is the symbol of national culture.At the same time,Yi dress is closely connected with the nation's history,religion,marriage,funeral,farming and festival celebrations,reflecting a mysterious and unique history and culture broad and profound.The author selects Yi costume and humanistic feelings as the breakthrough point to explain the performance of Yi culture in painting.This paper is divided into four chapters,the first chapter elaborates on the history of the Yi nationality and some main origins,and the current distribution of the geographical position of Yi nationality are summarized;the second chapter makes comparison analysis for various regions of the Yi ethnic trappings,and summarized the differences;Chapter third outlines the author is interested in the Yi nationality customs and legends;the fourth chapter from the cultural customs in the paintings of the fine details of the expanded description,and analyzes some representative painters and Yi series of works,the author finally discusses about their experience and creation of the series of Yi language picture.The author analyzes and expounds the difference between culture and aesthetic art of a nation because of its geographical characteristics through four aspects.
