The Deconstruction Of Zionist Myth In Oz's Novels

Zionism created modern Israel and established a habitat for the exiled Jews,but because of the nature of Messianicism,it became political fanaticism of nationalism and even a supreme political myth.Amos Oz is the descendant of Ashkenazi Jews,there is no doubt that it has trains of Zionism in his works.But Oz understanded and recognized the great dangers of the Zionist mythology and in his works the Zionist myth was deconstructed.This paper explores the way and tactics of Oz’s deconstruction of Zionist mythology by reading a lot of his masterpieces.This article consists of three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction begins with a brief introduction to Amos Oz’s life and its creation;Secondly,it summarizes the research status at home and abroad,explains the research value of this topic which laid the foundation for the study of the text part.The body of the article consists of four chapters.Chapter 1 summarizes the evolution of Zionism,the roots of thought and the roots of Zionist mythology in the minds of the Israelites and its great harms.Immediately it elaborates the "Triangular Pyramid" structure of Zionist Myth Which is based on the idea of Zionism with three symbols of Jerusalem,kibbutz and heroes.It digests three symbols of later Oz literature creation to further deconstruct the foundation of the whole political myth.The second chapter mainly uses Badiou’s "Degre" theory as the Zionist mythology which refers to the dialectical relationship of Oz Oedipus complex at "Degre" between ancient Israel of Jerusalem and mother by reading A Tale of Love and Darkness and My Michael.The meaningful "Mother’s death" shows the disruption of this relevance and the "Holiness" of Jerusalem to form deconstruction trend of Zionist mythology.The third chapter mainly describes Oz’s writing of the body combining the history of Kibbutz and the life trajectory of Oz by Nomadic and Viper,A Perfect Peace,Scenes from Village Life.It presents the identity of the Kibbutzist’crisis and show the heterotopia to reveal the true face of Kibbutz.Thus it poses a challenge of Zionist mythology.The fourth chapter mainly elaborates the digestion of the "Charisma" hero in the novel,anti-heroic painting,shaping of "Don Quixote" hero to overturn the sign of the hero by reading A Tale of Love and Darkness,The Way of the Wind,Fima.Thus it forms deconstruction trend of Zionist mythology.Conclusion is summed up in full text.Amos Oz digests three political symbols of Jerusalem,Kibbutz and Heroes with creation to pierce the "triangular pyramid" of Zionist mythology.Finally,it deconstructs the myth.Because of its’special identity,Oz also retains some of the factors of Zionism while deconstructing myth.
