Marxism And Chinese Confucianism (1919-1949)

From the Opium War,the orginal closed-door police of China was broken,the country and nation's survival was becoming the most pressing problem!Meanwhile,the Confucianism has been unable to solve the problems of nation's survival and the social problems of modernization drive,the western learning to the east become the mainstream of the age.After May Forth Movement,the Marxism spread in China,but it also faced the fusion of Chinese native culture.As the main parts of Chinese native culture we can't ignored the Confucianism's influence to the Chinese.Both Marxism in China and Confucianism modernization need to be questioned in greater depth;the present choose May Forth Movement and the general discussion about social nature which occurred during 1919 to1949 to do research.Then we can draw a reasonable conclusion and make contribution to the research of subject.This paper is divided into five chapters:firstly,it elaborates the background of the social transformation in China,and the world background of Marx's thought and the rise of socialism! China since modern times,the western new culture into Chinese,the May 4th Movement was added after the Marx doctrine,two new to old:expand the common to Chinese traditional old culture criticism and attack,and the modern Confucian holding relatively conservative attitude to the traditional culture China also struggle with the defense to a certain extent,this part focuses on the related works Hu Shi,Chen Duxiu,Li Dazhao and Liang Qichao Liang Shuming,the representative of Confucianism and social activities,the three group not conflict absolutely,but are included.Then,in 30 s and 40 s,in the face of the rise of Anti Japanese War,Marx selected nationalist Chen Duxiu and Mao Zedong,Guo Moruo,Chen Boda,Ma Yifu,Liang Shuming,Xiong Shili,modern Confucianism,Feng Youlan as the representative,this paper discusses the nature of society,the society of traditional culture China Chinese party attitude and achievements,through the analysis of the different point of view,in the54 years later,Liang Shuming,Xiong Shili,Chinese Confucianism Zhang Junmai Confucian intellectuals,as well as Mao Zedong,Guo Moruo,Fan Wenlan,Marx and other intellectuals two development paths,through comparison:This paper discusses the time range,two lines,both of their own development,and intertwined;collision conflict shows mutual absorption and fusion of certain the degree of.Finally,based on the study at this stage,the characteristics of traditional Confucianism and the Marx doctrine and the theory of similarity and difference comparison concluded:the Marx doctrine and the existing obstacles of collision and conflict between Confucianism and can integrate the era of opportunity and theoretical basis,thus to realizethe integration of the two deeper needs Marx's China and Chinese started the modernization of Confucianism deeply.
