Roy Andersson is a famous Swedish film director,which inherits and assembles the characteristics of the Swedish film,we can see an extremely obvious color of Nordic culture in his movies,at the same time his films often with a strong personal style,so he had been described as a "slapstick Ingmar Bergman".The attractive Anderson-style movies just like an abstract painting,he is not only simply describe the Nordic landscape or life situation of people,but build a variety of possibilities with an alternative absurd style,which only exist in your dreams or hidden behind an unpredictable future.This article starts from Andersson's 12 films,focus on "Living trilogy",and divide the article into seven chapters to explore and research the films.In the introduction,briefly explain the background and the meaning of the topic,and makes a brief summary of the focus and difficulty of the article.The first chapter "Synthesizer of Swedish film: Roy Andersson",this chapter mainly combs some major Swedish film theories,and made a brief overview of Andersson's 12 films and the absurd style.The second chapter "Compose the secular poem:Theme analysis of Andersson's film",this chapter is the first key point of this article,mainly analyse and generalize the purpose and content which movies want to express.This chapter summarizes the themes of Andersson's film from three aspects,includes the description of the present situation of mankind,the sadness of self-loss and the doubts and thoughts about the extinction and existence of life.The third chapter "Gloomy and cold poetry: Narrative analysis of Andersson's film",this chapter is divided into three small chapters to discuss the narrative in Andersson's films,includes the fragmented narrative technique,the onlooking narrative style and the theatrical narrative space.The fourth chapter "Look away from the sidelines: Audio-visual language analysis of Andersson's film",this chapter mainly from three aspects to analysis the audio-visual language,includes the technique of using lens,the setting and scheduling of characters and the unique language in the films.The fifth chapter "Absurd tragedy of comedian:Philosophical connotation of Andersson's film",this chapter is the second key point of this article,this chapter discusses the theoretical criticism and the philosophical content of Andersson's films.In the conclusion part,combined with the above six parts of content,makes a general overview of Andersson's creative style.
