As an important part of human culture and arts industry,art museum is a link between the public and artworks,which bears the responsibility of the collection and preserve of art resources,the study of culture,and the dissemination of outstanding cultural and artistic achievements.One of the most important functions of art museum is to exhibit and disseminate,which means to extract themes from artworks in a certain space and unify the content-related artworks with public aesthetic taste and cognitive ability,and thus to construct a general framework that reflects the form,connotation and concept of specified artworks.During more than 100 years from the early 20 th century to now,the exhibition and dissemination of domestic art museums has experienced the process from the sprouting period,startup period to the changing period and then to the growing period.The dynamic process of development has always been inseparable from the social changes at home and abroad,the realistic context of Chinese culture and art renewal,the development of science and technology,the development of the service industry and the spiritual and cultural needs of the people.Therefore,this thesis follows the historical clue of"the development and evolution of the exhibition and dissemination of domestic art museums”,places art museums in historical circumstance to analyze,and does a solid and scientific research on the formation and development of the clue's features.To study the history can provide reference for the development nowadays.Locating in the new cultural context of economic globalization and Internet information in 21 stcentury,this thesis summarizes the development's features of the exhibition and dissemination of domestic art museums in digital age,extracts new issue consciousness,predicts opportunities and plans practical strategy for the advancement of domestic art museums.The full text consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction.It summarizes the research status of the exhibition and dissemination of domestic art museums and takes comprehensive analysis and conclusion in a theoretical perspective,meanwhile gives a brief introduction to the research methods and meaning.The first chapter is about the development situation,which is analyzed through theconnection with historical circumstance,using time as links.About the history division,the thesis uses curator Ma Hongzeng's method of periodization about domestic art museums as reference.The form of exhibition and dissemination tends to apply to sociocultural environment,the exhibition techniques improve,and the exhibition concept turns to "public as the center".On that basis,the development process is divided into four stages: the sprouting period,the startup period,the changing period,and the rising period.The first section teases out the development process from the rise of Chinese art exhibition to the building of domestic art museums.The second section describes how the culture serves to shape the image of China on the initial stage of socialism after the foundation of new China.Taking National Art Museum of China as an example,it analyzes the characteristics of art museum exhibition under the system of national artistic creation.The third section is about the old exhibition mechanism cannot adapt to the new appearance of Chinese art after reform and opening up.With the communication between Chinese and Western culture,the influence of the third revolution of science and technology,the rapid growth of tourism,and the introduction of independent curators system,domestic art museums make a lot of upgrades in the concept,technology and form of exhibition and in the respects of quantity,quality and feature.The fourth section is after entering into the 21 st century,"transformation" becomes the key word of this era.This section takes a macro-modulation for the features of the exhibition and dissemination of domestic art museums in new cultural context that advocates people-centered value.The second chapter analyzes the features of exhibition and dissemination of domestic art museums in new cultural context.This chapter is divided into two parts.The first part is about the characteristics of the new cultural context,which are analyzed and summarized from aspects of world distance,exhibition form,people's cultural consumption taste and leisure hobbies.Firstly,the world distance tends to be “shortening” because of the rise of tourism around the world,growing cultural commercial activities shifting "elsewhere" to "somewhere",application of virtual reality technology.Secondly,the world has developed into the "exhibition complex" situation,thus exhibition becomes the basic way to shape national image,enterprise culture,and brand image,such as Expo,business exhibition,urban planning,and theme exhibition.Theexhibition gradually becomes diversified from single model,and the exhibition form shows its variety.Thirdly,taking modern technology as basis and people's psychological need as chance,"picture" is the core of popular spiritual culture products.The form of content dissemination shows pictorialization.Fourthly,people's feeling,perception and awareness of cultural consumption speed up,and people prefer convenient,nice and fast culture form.Cultural consumption enters into the "fast food" era.Fifthly,under the background of experience-centered consumption mode,the existence mode of art museums,the exhibition mode and concrete operation mode all present new features.The second part is about the characteristics of the exhibition and dissemination of domestic art museums in new cultural context.First of all,it exhibit "dynamization","Mobile Art Museum","Line 4 Art Museum",and Shandong Art Museum are taken as examples to discuss how domestic art museums communicate with the public in spiritual art and conceptual level with active and positive attitude.Third,it analyzes the progress made by domestic art museums under the educational idea of "teaching in happiness",taking tour guide facilities,academic lectures and art workshops as instances,supported by online classrooms of art museums,virtual exhibition hall,e-book and online mobile interaction.Fourth,guided by "public-centered" idea,it describes three participation modes of domestic art museum system--passive experience,active experience and comprehensive experience,and conducts analysis with specific cases.The third chapter is about the analysis of problems and solutions of domestic art museums' exhibition and dissemination.The new cultural context has brought great challenges and shocks to the exhibition and dissemination of domestic art museums.There is still some internal anxiety over reality to be solved.Starting from three aspects of art museums' academic leadership,exhibition evaluation system and curator system,this chapter analyzes the status and defects of domestic art museums in these aspects and tries to put forward solutions to march into modernization in software construction.On previous basis,art museum devotes to set up its new image to make progress.The fourth chapter is about the change of exhibition concept from "artist-centered" to "public-centered" and how to embody the dominant role of audience and make more people enterinto art museums.This chapter proposes to establish audience evaluation system on art museums.This chapter discusses the purpose and function of this system,basic construction method and data analysis process.Taking "the audience evaluation of theme exhibition " secrets of age " in Museum of Science(Boston)" as an example,the chapter analyzes the application of audience evaluation index system,presents the processing method of evaluation data,and concludes with several ideas about establishing evaluation system.
