The Artistic Characteristics And Singing Research Of The Vocal Music "Xiangxiang Yunshui"

Clouds and waters in Xiaoxiang is composed by Meng Yong, whose words are written by Xiao Zhengmin. It sings a praise of their hometown in Hunan, which transfers the local folk culture in Hunan using the humanity style and local feelings as the theme. The majority of music lovers favor it. I study the artistic features of the lyrics and the singing processing of the song through the composer and the writer carefully and repeatedly based on looking up in documents data. I also watch the videos of the concerts, and then I compare the videos of the singers and my own performances in a detailed comparison and analysis. Finally I find out something that can be improved and perfected. It reveals the composer’s unique writing techniques, and provides some reference value for vocal music teaching and research.This article researches the artistic features and the vocal performances of the works in-depth analysis from the angle of the singers. The thesis mainly focuses on the songwriter,musical characteristics, melody characteristics, combination feature of Ci and Qu. It studies the use of song breath, articulation and emotion when the singers sing the song.It probes into the deep connotation of the song and explores the style of the singing. It can make the singers get a better understanding of the song. It also provides the specific theoretical references and help, which can let the singers deduce the song better.
