Compared with overseas countries?regions?, China Documentary Photography started late, and was criticized as "not over", the cultural heritage and the lack of humanistic spirit, and it is because of the lack of historical heritage, resulting in the initial stage, documentary photography,prone to "Jose", "Pulitzer" and other international photography awards judged profound influence. This makes the mainland independent documentary photography in the late development process gradually disappear.In the 70s of last century, there was a similar predicament in the photographic circles of Taiwan. In order to cope with the trend of European modernism and get out of the predicament, Taiwan's photography circles set off a wave of local concerns.
