The era of Song-Liao-Jin is an important period for the formation of China's Muslim minority groups, but also a period of neglect. This paper attempts to comb through the limited historical data,to restore the representative conditions of the Chinese Muslims in this period. The main contents of analysis is then tothe historical background of the formation of the Muslim population, the main reason and historical background of coming to China, structure of talent personnel in China, their main engaged industries in China, the development direction of future generations, choices and destinations of families and communities in the historical transition point. The integration of Muslim and other ethnic groups, especially the main ethnic groups, the relationship between the Muslim community and the central government,is the main line and the focus of the whole text. Finally, through the comparative analysis and historical evidence, the conclusion is that the Muslim ethnic groups in China have a relatively ample living space in the traditional Chinese society to the different cultural groups. However, compared with other ethnic groups, the level of interaction and integration between the Muslim community and the whole society is relatively low.Without losing the unique cultural identity,There exists a limit of social integration. In the ideological level, this limit is reflectedas the barriers between "us" and "others" beyond blood;at the level of social practice, this limit is the one-way inclusive marriage system and one-way tolerant or say double standards of social administrative and judicial management.Beyond this limit, the Muslim community and the mainstream of society and even the political power will inevitably conflict or break, and compromisecan not be achieved under the conditions of peace.
