Analysis Of "cultural Taiwan Independence" From The Perspective Of Political Culture

Political culture has great importance in guiding demotic identity,cohering social consensus and integrating national power.Since 1987,when the Martial Law Period ended,political democratization and Party competition have been remarkable in Taiwan,at the same time,“Cultural independence ”has developed with the substitute of the government and the Party.As for “cultural independence”,it is the process of wiping out Chinese symbols.Since Lee Teng-hui carried out the “cultural independence” policy,it has been exerting negative influence on demotic historical and cultural acknowledge,and national identity.Furthermore,it break up social stabilization and justice,and peaceful reunification.Especially since Tsai Ing-wen take office,the DPP concentrates on practising “cultural independence”,and these measures cause great concerns.Therefore,we should take comprehensive measures,including political,economical,cultural,diplomatic and military,to restraint the development of “cultural independence”.
