Exploring The Formal Expression Of Thematic Map Design

Thematic map is the inevitable outcome of the development of the times,the development of science and technology makes thematic maps more accurate and practical.Because people have a higher pursuit of map type and expression,so the thematic map more and more into the artistic techniques and forms,transfer to the general public to accept the map information with more diverse ways.This paper discusses the close relationship between map and thematic map through in-depth understanding of the map firstly;secondly,from the basic characteristics and thematic map design principles and thematic map design art way and analyzes the advantages,unique artistic features of thematic map;finally,from the type,style and art of the three aspects of analysis study on the thematic map design in the form of expression method,hope to be able to make a little contribution to the rich thematic map design theory research data,thematic map to provide some help to understand others.
