Inheritance And Innovation Of The Style Of Yuxi

In each different era,Calligraphers constantly seek change.Different acquisition methods,different horizons,different understandings will directly affect the result of“change”.Get a good method,you will do it in general;Get the general method,you will not do well.Acquisition methods of calligraphers often directly or indirectly date back to the commanding height of Calligraphy Fonts,just like learning Large Seal Script,you must learn the ZhouWen and ShiGuWen,learning Small Seal Script,you must learn the Li Si’s Jade Chopsticks Seal Script,learning Semi-cursive Script,you must learn the Wang Xizhi’s Letters.However,acquisition methods of calligraphers often not only limited to one of calligraphers.Different acquisition methods have different understanding of the calligraphic font,and then the calligraphy style will be different.Like Li Yangbing,sought for change in the succession,but did not escape the shadow of Li Si;Deng Shiru innovated in inheritance,thus opened up a new generation of seal script style.This research does not rigidly adhere to the traditional Jade Chopsticks Seal Script,try to add some Clerical Script method and Cursive Script method in Li Si’ Jade Chopsticks Seal Script,as ZhaoYiguang said “There is not Clerical Script method in the Seal Script,it will not be smart;There is not Cursive Script method in the Seal Script,it will not be quaint;There is not Li Si’s Jade Chopsticks Seal Script in the Seal Script,it will not be rigorous”.This research analyzed the Li Si’s Jade Chopsticks Seal Script at first,then according to own experiences,completed the “Discussion on the use of Chinese Calligraphy Brush Pen”of Li Si.After the analysis of the acquisition methods of Li Yangbing and Deng Shiru,this research respectively completed their articles and poems.Finally,this research added some characteristics of “Shimen Song” and “Shu Pu” into the Jade Chopsticks Seal Script,and completed the final composition.
