As the quintessence of our country,Beijing Opera has developed a scientific set of performing programme within its long history.As a female role of Beijing Opera,QingYi is a significant symbol of Chinese culture.The composer of 'QingYi',Wu Xiaoping has borrowed the feature of stylish 'fan er huang' female tone from Beijing Opera with full use of both the spotted and linear melodies,which result in significantly long phrases with viable rhythm types and grace notes.It embraces both the ethereal feelings of opera arts and the temper of times,full of senses of Beijing Opera and with high value in art.Singing methods differ in national soprano and QingYi in Beijing Opera,it is worth deeply investigation into how to properly perform QingYi by referring to Beijing Opera.Thus,the author interviewed the composer Wu Xiaoping,acquired Wu's creative intentions and composing methods and clarifies his requirements on singer's performance.The author also does comparative study on two versions of QingYi performed by Sun Li and Fang Lili,with presice an alysis on their own voices,pronounces,breaths,flow of 'qiang' and senses.In the meantime,the author also would like to critically learn from her own research,according to her performing characteristics,and tries to meet the requirements and expectations of the composer in her future performance.
