Nowadays,with the rapid development of information technology,therenewal of the concept of art and the progress of science and technology today,how to make use of various media and techniques to convey information isbecoming a trend.Like most contemporary artists,Hockney is no longer atraditional painter.In different areas of art,in addition to painting,but alsoinvolves the stage design,collage photography,video devices and book bindingdesign,etc..In this paper,the use of theoretical induction and case studiescombined with a comprehensive approach to the study of his works from theearly easel painting to the present IPAD picture books more than 50 years ofwork on the schematic language.In the first chapter,the author makes aninterpretation of the relevant concepts from the perspective of vision andisomorphism,and briefly discusses the dual identity of David Hockney,andexpounds the relationship between modern painting and design.The maincontents of the thesis are the second and the three chapters,respectively,fromthe perspective of the design and visual expression of the angle of view,so as toHockney's paintings of the expression of the language and the design of therelevant.The fourth chapter makes a new exploration from the perspective ofvisual communication design,as well as in-depth thinking and research.
