In the highly developed modern society background, contemporary art showing a diversi fied style, every artist in search of their way, David Hockney’s is one of the leading figures in this era. In much of his paintings can be found that conforms to the time development, in som e people think doubt sound frame landscape painting outdated, Hockney in recent years with a lot of landscape works in his proof of easel painting is never out of date, Hockney mainly dep ict the Yorkshire natural scenery, and these works much in trees the main theme of his paintin gs, tree manipulation Zhizhuo, bright color, can be highly generalization. He first summed up the tree shape, leaf shape performance with different point, use a regular expression of lines th rough the depiction of the tree trunk, can reflect the unique painting language of Hockney, an d the realistic style of landscape painting can be seen in the Hockney painting, picture form se nse, large area of flat we can see that the painting decorative and plane, Hockney was influenc ed by Cubism, the dislocation collage way so that the screen showing a different visual effect, through the observation of China painting can be seen in the paintings of Hockney "symbolic" performance. Hockney through continued to accept new knowledge, apply it in their own wa y of painting has formed its own unique painting language.
