Based On The New Words And New Meanings Of The Modern Gabriel

Buddhism was introduced into the Central Plains from the Eastern Han Dynasty,which had a profound and lasting influence on the culture of the Central Plains and penetrated into the various fields of the traditional culture.At this time,a large number of Buddhist scriptures were translated in China.A large number of Buddhist classics which were mainly Sanskrit were translated into Chinese,forming the first large-scale systematic contact and communication between Chinese and foreign languages.The emergence of Chinese translation of Buddhist scriptures is of great value to the study of the history of Chinese vocabulary.Modengjiajing is one of the important translation of Buddhist classics,which was total translated by Zhu Lvyan and Zhiqian in the Sun Wu period of the Three Kingdoms.Because of the influence of language contact,it’s vocabulary system is complexed with old and new materials,not only inheriting,but also innovative.And because of the need to pass through,the language style of Modengjiajing is easy to understand,close to the society and rich flavor of life.And its language retained a large number of oral vocabulary,to a certain extent reflect the language characteristics at that time.This paper takes it as the research object,and research on it from the general picture of the vocabulary,the lexical features and structural style of the new words and the evolutionary path of the new senses using the method of exegesis and the comparative use of Sanskrit and Chinese Buddhist sutras.We hope to find out the characteristics of Buddhist scriptures in lexicon,which are different from the traditional Chinese literature,so as to make some superficial exploration for the research of Chinese lexicon history.This article is divided into four chapters altogether:The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter is mainly divided into five parts: a brief introduction to the reasons and research status of this topic,Modengjiajing and its author,the research contents and research methods of this article,and several other related problems.The second chapter describes the characteristics of lexical system of Modengjiajing.This paper summarizes the general lexical features and analyzes the characteristics of the vocabulary system.In the third chapter,we exhaustively analyze and research the new words of Modengjiajing from two aspects of lexical features and structures based on the way of comparative use of Sanskrit and Chinese Buddhist sutras.In the fourth chapter,we sort out all of the new senses in Modengjiajing and analyze the evolution of the new ways by comparative use of Sanskrit and Chinese Buddhist sutras.The conclusion part summarizes the comparative use of Sanskrit and Chinese Buddhist sutras used to be the result of the research,explains the shortcomings of this paper and the aspects which are still worth exploring.
