Urban Geography Of The Ordos Plateau And Its Adjacent Areas During The Yuan, Ming And Qing Dynasties

Ordos Plateau is a specific natural geographical area,surrounded by mountains,surrounded by water on three sides.Ordos Plateau is located in the agricultural civilization and nomadic civilization staggered areas.The Dynasties of Yuan,Ming,Qing in the study area are used different administrative measures for management.The research object in this paper is the cities which were built in the research period.By analyzing the spatial distribution of the city,the distribution characteristics and influencing factors are analyzed.Analysis the system of the city according to classification of cities in the study area.The specific city as an example to explore the characteristics of space form of the city.In addition,put forward opinions on the existing ancient city protection according to the field investigation and archaeological data,.This artical includes five chapters besides the introduction:The first chapter briefly outlines the Ordos plateau area of natural geography and human geography foundation foundation.The natural environment mainly discusses the topography,climate and water features.Administrative evolution focuses on the study of human geography based district.The second chapter according to the historical documents and archaeological data,summarizes the urban development in the study area.Analyze the urban spatial layout,in which the Yuan Dynasty only for a period of time,and the Ming Dynasty is divided into three periods,and the Qing Dynasty is two.Through the natural environment,government policy and other aspects to analyze the impact factors of the development of the city.The third chapter exploring the urban system of the study area.According to the city level,the city function and the urban traffic three aspects to analyze the urban system.Use administrative level and scale level two indexes in the city grade.The main character of the city is military in the study area.The urban traffic is divided into two types,land transportation and water transportation.The fourth chapter use the specific site in the study area as an example,analysis of city space layout of Ningxia city and Suiyuan city from three aspects,the foundation of city development,city form and city external internal space layout.The fifth chapter based on the investigation of the study area on the sub period overview of study area city situation,introduced the various site investigation.And puts forward some suggestions on city protection measures.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,the urban development in the study area had a profound influence on the later generations.The modern urban layout of the study area is used the dynasties Yuan,Ming and Qing.
