This article takes the Xiaoheng Mountain Brick Tombs as a breakthrough point. After combing the basic situation of the Xiaoheng Mountain, this paper further analyzesthe relationship between the Brick Tombs of the Southern Dynasties and the Brick Tombsof the Xiaoheng Mountain. From the early to the middle and late stages, the tombs of theSouthern Dynasties gradually changed the concept in the construction of tombs. At first,Buddhist concepts only served as a supplement to the traditional view of life and death inthe tombs. In the middle and late period of the Southern Dynasties,Buddhism graduallybegan to dominate the tombs. There are two major changes in the style of the Xiaoheng Mountain Brick Tombs. These two styles are in line with the above trend. There is a complex relationship betweenthe concept and the portrait, and what kind of correspondence exists in the tombs of theSouthern Dynasties.Compared with other tombs in the Southern Dynasties,we canclearly see that the situation of Xiaoheng Mountain is relatively simple, and theinclination of portrait concept is weak.Xiaoheng Mountain almost collected the popularportraits in the tombs of the Southern Dynasties. This situation in Xiaoheng Mountain another possibility of portrait propagation.Compared with the Northern Dynasties material, the Southern Dynasties can be found inthe Northern Dynasties, and the portrait of the Southern Dynasties was spread in thenorthern and Southern Dynasties.Tombs and Buddhist figures may not be as clear as that.During the Wei,Jin,southern and Northern Dynasties, the conditions of separationof power, religious prosperity and artistic awakening enabled us to study the portrait frommore dimensions. The portraits that can be spread over a long and wide range are likely toexist in the world of the living, the world of the deceased, and even the world of the godsand the decoration of the religious occasions. The "transfer and imitation" in Sheikh's "sixprinciples of law" in South Qi Dynasty can be said to be a high summary of the form ofthis portrait propagation.Through this means, the "generation" portrait has also becomethe core part of the art history of the Southern and Northern Dynasties.
