The Teaching Of The Creation Of European Court Dance

European court dance,as the origin of ballet,has laid a foundational role in the development of ballet.The European Court Dance Course is a required course for students of the Ballet Department of Beijing Dance Academy.It mainly focuses on court dance since the Renaissance,especially from the 16 th to 19 th centuries.Because of the strong historical gene and research value of the European court dance,we have to think about the teaching mode and significance in undergraduate education.How to enrich existing textbooks,how to balance the weight between classroom teaching and stage practice in content selection,and how to give consideration to the tradition and development so as to adapt to the current trend needs is the urgent problems in this field.This study started from historical material,explored and reproduced the European court dance recorded in historical materials,enriched the teaching content,and relied on the research and development project of the music ballet “Declassification Bach”.In this process,we tried to refine and process the European court dance elements in teaching materials and brought them to stage.So,we could think about how the current teaching content could adapt to the needs of stage practice and how to provide a more varied material content to the students through good work.After summing up experience,we should make classrooms and stage,teaching and creation more closely interact with each other,and enrich the practical significance of European court dance for Chinese ballet education.
