| “Han shu·yi wen zhi” commented on Confucianism:“pay attention to Ren and Yi”.It can be said that the whole Confucian thought can be summed up in "Ren and Yi".Dong Zhongshu,as the representative of neo-confucianism in the han dynasty.He inherited the thoughts of Confucius and Mencius.The Han dynasty inherited the bad system of the Qin dynasty.The author tries to provide the theoretical foundation for the practical politics by means of the “Ren” and “Yi” of Confucianism in the ChunQiu period.Dong developed the thought of “Ren” and “Yi” on the basis of Confucianism in the pre-qin period.However,academic research focused on the idea of “Ren”,and “Yi” of Dong is ignored,This article is based on the background of Qin dynasty replaced the Zhou dynasty.Under the background and the assurance of Dong Zi whole thought of political philosophy view of Dong Zhongshu's thought of “Ren”.This paper investigates the “Ren” of Dong Zi from four parts.The first part discusses the origin of “Yi”.Confucius regards “Ren” as the core concept beyond“Yi”,and emphasizes “What a gentleman knows is Yi.” On the other hand,Zi Si seeks the internal basis for “Yi”.In this regard,Mencius further develops,He believing that“Yi” is in the heart of the people.The thought of “Yi” in the pre-qin dynasty is an important foundation for the formation of Dong Zi's idea of “Yi”.Secondly,Dong Zhongshu's time background,namely the change of Zhou and Qin,the transformation from feudal system to county system is very important to understand Dong Zi's thought.In the second part of the article,Dong Zhongshu constructs his own philosophical thoughts in the study of the “Chun Qiu”.This paper holds that “Ren and Yi” is the tenet of Dong Zi's academic research.“Ren and Yi” is also the main line of political philosophy of “Wang Dao” political ideal.This is mainly reflected in Dong Zi's emphasis on the origin.Respect the thought of Dao.With "Ren" and "Yi" as the governance of the world and the intrinsic essence of etiquette.The third part of the article mainly discusses Dong Zhongshu's “Yi”,which is the development of Dong Zi's idea of “Yi”.Dong Zi made provisions for the “Yi” of the emperor and officials in the political community.And the subject of “Yi” is “I”,which contains two aspects.The first is the standard of the monarch,who tries to limit the unlimited power of the monarch.Second,Dong Zi believes that “Ren is the lover,Yiis strict request oneself”,that is,“Ren” is love the people of your country,while “Yi”is the standard of political community.The fourth part of the article inspection Dong Zhongshu's distinction between Yi and profit.Dong Zi's concept of righteousness and benefit is consistent with Confucius and Mencius.Dong Zi's famous quotes that the gentleman is a moral responsibility should be governed by the principle of morality rather than utilitarianism.On the basis of Xun Zi,Dong Zi further elucided the idea of “not competing with the people for profit”,which was of great practical significance at the time.The conclusion part summarizes the main points of the thesis and points out the shortcomings of the paper. |
